about

welcome to TINY STORIE, a universe in which both reader and writer can be creators of the same book.

once upon a time, there was a college student who didn't know what to write for her fiction assignment. as college students do, she asked two of her friends for help. they each gave her a pair of random words (that makes 4 random words, in case your mind is mushy), and from those 4 words, she pieced together a storie.

as a result of covid-19 lockdowns across the world, i was mandated to a week of self-quarantine. ergo, the blossoming of this blog. the premise is simple: you choose 4 words, and i'll do the same thing as i did with my friends... i'll string them into a story! get as creative and as random as you'd like- it's so much more fun that way!

and if you like what you see, do consider becoming a patron and supporting a (financially unstable) college kid who is also an aspiring writer, aka me! i'm trying my best to help pay the bills, and i thought that TINY STORIE would be a fun way of doing that. my hope is to make these stories accessible and free forever, and your patronship (even for as little as $3 a month) makes that possible. you can find the button on the sidebar.
also, do subscribe! i know you know i know you want more stories. i mean... why else would you be here?

here's to happy reading, happy writing, and the creation of a million (tiny) universes.

"who can say if the thoughts you have in your mind as you read these words are the same thoughts i had in my mind as i typed them? we are different, you and i, and the qualia of our consciousnesses are as divergent as two stars at the ends of the universe.
and yet, whatever has been lost in translation in the long journey of my thoughts through the maze of civilization to your mind, i think you do understand me, and you think you do understand me. our minds managed to touch, if but briefly and imperfectly."
